Kim Kardashian may love to over-edit her pictures on social media, which often raises a lot of questions among her fans, but she also isn’t afraid of keeping it real from time to time either, as she has stepped out with very little (and sometimes no!) makeup on quite a few occasions too!
Less than three months ago, for example, she treated fans to a seemingly unedited closeup of her skin when she shared a video of herself exfoliating with the Skkn by Kim exfoliator on Instagram! (Spoiler alert – her skin looked pretty flawless, as you probably imagined!)
Fans got another rare glimpse at the 41-year-old Skims founder’s natural face on the latest episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians, as she was filmed taking her younger sister Khloé Kardashian, 38, to hospital for the birth of her and ex Tristan Thompson’s son, who was born via surrogate.
Sitting in the car and wearing a simple black tank top, with her hair in a short, cropped, straight bob, Kim tells the camera: “Khloé just called me and her surrogate has to go into labor early. We’re at Khloé’s house to pick her up.”
And although fans were excited to be involved in the exciting moment Khloé and Tristan’s newborn arrived into the world, they also couldn’t help but notice Kim’s natural, unfiltered face, and her natural skin texture, which we rarely get to see thanks to the makeup she wears and the airbrushed, heavily filtered pictures she posts on Instagram.
It’s nice to see that Kim knew what her priorities were that day – and driving her little sister to the hospital for the birth of her second child was *definitely* a bigger priority than doing her makeup!
Although Kim had some dark circles around her eyes (was this because she had just woken up?) and her skin wasn’t the smooth, airbrushed skin we are used to seeing as we actually saw her pores and a few signs of hyperpigmentation (which most if not all of us have had!) we still think she looked pretty great. It was clear and blemish-free, and skin that most people would dream of! She’s clearly a great advert for her Skkn by Kim products!
Let’s hope that this natural appearance means that Kim will be more comfortable going makeup-free more often, or at the very least, filtering her pictures a little less on social media!
