I can never get enough of cute dog videos. They are one of the best things on the internet and have been proven to alleviate stress and give us that ‘feel good’ feeling we all want sometimes. And when a baby joins in? Cuteness overload.
The bond between a dog and a child is unbreakable, especially if they have been together from the time the baby was born. Many people think it is not a good idea to introduce a dog to their baby, but they couldn’t be more wrong. Just take a look at this adorable video below.
It features a little boy called Arthur and his 12-year-old Shar-Pei named Watson. Arthur was out on a walk with Watson in the woods, and mom was filming the whole thing. Arthur is holding Watson on a leash, but we see he’s not really guiding the dog. He’s too small. Watson will go wherever the boy goes, even without a leash.
When Arthur spots a puddle on the road, the little boy puts the leash on the ground and goes and splashes around in the puddle. Watson, on the other hand, stands vigil and waits for his little friend. He doesn’t move from his spot near the boy. It is amazing how patient this handsome pooch is!
After Arther finishes splashing in the puddle, he picks up the leash again, and he and Watson go on their way. It’s so sweet. I think these two are friends for life.
Such a faithful dog!
