New footage has emerged that shows a violent confrontation between Reacher star Alan Ritchson and his neighbor Ronnie Taylor.
The pair clashed on the lawn of a house near where Taylor lives, and now both have spoken out.
Reacher star Alan Ritchson involved in violent brawl
The incident, which occurred in a neighborhood of Brentwood, Tennessee, shows the two men involved in a tussle on a patch of grass.
Two young boys – believed to be Ritchson’s sons – watched on as the pair struggled.
One man, believed to be the Hollywood star, can clearly be seen pushing the other around.
It is believed that the argument started because of the way in which Ritchson, 43, was riding his bike through the neighborhood.
In an interview, Taylor – believed to be the second man – explained how he had originally made a gesture towards Ritchson as he rode his bike through the area, but then decided to confront him about how he was riding – allegedly fast and loud – on a separate occasion.
That led to the confrontation, he said.
Now, more footage has emerged, this time allegedly from a helmet camera.
We’ve now heard from all parties involved
After the incident, Ritchson put out a cryptic message on his Instagram with the message: “Never interrupt your opponent when he is making a mistake.”
When called by the Daily Mail for comment, he responded: “I can’t answer questions about that right now, there’s an active investigation.”
That was confirmed by the Brentwood Police Department, who said: “There is an active investigation, and no arrests have been made.
“There will be a police report available when the investigation has concluded.”
As for Taylor, he downplayed the events, telling the Mail that he would ‘hardly call it a fight’ and stating: “I did not know who he was or care. I only found out after the incident.”
Then, he outlined the circumstances that led to the alleged brawl in more detail in another interview.
The self-proclaimed ‘experienced motorbike rider’ said that confronted Ritchson after being angered by how he was riding through the neighborhood, before he was ‘pushed’ and Ritchson ‘kicked the crap’ out of him.
“I don’t wish the guy any malice or ill will,” he said.
“We just don’t need people riding through neighborhoods like this and I just decided I [was] going to take a stand because someone had to.”
Sources close to Ritchson claimed to TMZ that Taylor pushed Ritchson twice, and said that the actor had been’ cooperative with the police and nobody has been arrested’.
