When life deals you a bad hand, you can either whine about it being unfair, or you can so the wiser thing and make the most of it. The young lady in the following video, 13-year-old Rion Paige, came to audition for The X Factor. She was born with a very rare condition called arthrogryposis multiplex congentia, which left her wrists permanently twisted in one position, and she is almost permanently blind in her right eye.
Despite her challenges, she had a very cheerful personality and didn’t seem to be too bothered by her condition. She chose to sing “Blown Away” by Carrie Underwood, and right off the bat, she stunned the crowd. Simon Cowell, who is notoriously difficult to impress, even predicted that she would become something big like Underwood.
