‘CSI: Miami’ star David Caruso looks unrecognizable in first sighting since 2017

Former “CSI: Miami” star David Caruso looked unrecognizable in his first sighting in more than six years.

The retired actor — who hasn’t appeared on TV since 2012 — was photographed outside his San Fernando Valley, Calif., home last month with an unknown female companion before running errands.

Caruso kept it casual for the outing, wearing a blue hoodie over a green T-shirt and a pair of khaki pants.

His signature red tresses — which used to be short and neat for his TV roles — were longer and he was rocking a pair of blue round glasses.

The “NYPD Blue” alum, 67, later changed his attire before heading out to meet friends.

While at the gas station, he was photographed wearing a black shirt under an open jean jacket, khaki pants and a pair of black shoes.

In 1993, Caruso became a household name when he snagged the role of Detective John Kelly in “NYPD Blue,” for which he won a Golden Globe Award.

However, he left the series the following year — only four episodes into the second season — after he was unable to secure a raise.

In 2002, Caruso returned to television in his first successful role since “NYPD Blue,” starring as police Lieutenant Horatio Caine in “CSI: Miami.”

Ten years later, the show was canceled due to declining ratings and the increasing cost of production.

After “CSI” Miami” ended, Caruso quietly retired from acting and joined the art business.

He also founded DavidCarusoTelevision.tv and LexiconDigital.tv and is the co-owner of the Miami-based clothing store Steam on Sunset.
