(VIDEO)Leonard Nimoy’s ‘highly illogical’ appearance on The Carol Burnett Show had fans in stitches

‘Star Trek’ and ‘The Carol Burnett Show’ were two of the best shows in the 1960s. But what happens when the star of the show encounters one of the sci-fi show’s best characters.

‘The Carol Burnett Show’ was a variety show that set the stage for so many skits. Featuring the comic legend Carol Burnett, this show ran from 1967 to 1978 on CBS.

The show had many guests including one from well…’outer space’. During a skit early on in the show’s run, Burnett played a mother in a skit called ‘Mrs. Invisible Man’.

Like her husband, the baby was invisible. But she urged her husband to purchase a certain tonic at a drugstore that could make her baby visible.

But there was one twist in the story. Though she suggested her husband tried it first, it turns out he already had.

That invisible man turned out to be Leonard Nimoy from the original ‘Star Trek’. If that wasn’t a highly logical surprise, we don’t know what is.
