Being asked to join a bridal party is both an honor and a responsibility. Although, occasionally bridesmaids somehow fail at their job. From the bride who dressed her bridal party to look like Santa’s little helpers, to the bridesmaid who got burnt days before the wedding, here’s some bridesmaids who didn’t know these were fails until it was too late.
The creepy sniffer
It is not uncommon for photographers to get the bride and her crew to pose in a variety of different ways in order to get the perfect shot. Well, this pose may not have been the best idea for this bridesmaid.
Just look at how creepy she looks when told that she has to sniff her bouquet. Honestly, perhaps the photographer should have been more clear on their directions and told them to maybe not look up while smelling the flowers.
Coffee for Brad
Wow, we have to say that this looks like one thoughtful bridesmaid. After all, with so much going on before the wedding ceremony, it takes someone with a lot of consideration to think of buying the bride a coffee while she is getting ready to walk down the aisle.
In classic barista style, instead of writing the word “bride” on the cup, they wrote the name “Brad.” We can’t imagine that this is even close to the bride’s real name.
It would take like 10 drinks until she can laugh about this one
Oh man, we seriously wonder what this bridesmaid had done to deserve no one telling her that she had a piece of toilet paper trailing from her dress for around an hour after she had used the bathroom.
Apparently she innocently walking around the reception looking like this, before someone had the decency to let her know what was going on ’round the back. We can only imagine how many cocktails it would take to laugh this one off.
Tanning a little too hard
Showing up with a sun tan to your best friend’s wedding is actually #goals. Like, that means that you don’t need to run to the nearest tanning parlor and get a spray tan, praying that you don’t come back looking fluorescent orange.
Sadly, this bridesmaid tanned a little too hard before her friend’s wedding and, although she may not look orange, she certainly looks like an unhealthy shade of pale pink. There is only so much makeup can do.
Accidentally unsupportive
There is nothing a bride needs more before her wedding than the support from her friends. She needs to hear how great she looks, how amazing the wedding is going to be and how perfect she and her future husband look together.
This bride was seeking some reassurance from one of her bridesmaids that she was looking amazing, but when her friend responded, all she said was “I look great.” Now that is one whoopsy daisy you don’t want to make.
The danger of shopping
Online shopping has seriously saved us all. Gone are the days of sorting through racks, trying to find the perfect dress. Now, we only have to have to click a few buttons and within just a couple of hours, we have a dress on its way.
The only danger with online shopping, though, is that you never really know how the dress will come out. This is the result of one unfortunate bridesmaid, whose dress arrived looking nothing like the picture online.
She, she… yaaaaas
We can certainly see that this maid of honor had pretty good intentions, wanting to have a sign that says “she said yaaas” hanging up for the bridal shower.
She probably should have been a bit more clear when she was organizing this about what she wanted the sign to say. If she had been, she probably would not have ended up with a sign that said “she she yaaas.” It just looks pretty unfortunate.
Too much to handle
One of the responsibilities of the bridesmaids include decorating the bride and groom’s getaway car. This is not their only responsibility, however. In general, they are also given charge of organizing the bridal shower and bachelorette party, so we can imagine that there is quite a lot on their plates already.
These bridesmaids completely forgot that they had to decorate the getaway car, so this is what they came up with when they realized their mistake.
A big responsibility
Being the bridesmaid who has been given the responsibility of bringing the cake to the bridal shower sounds like an intense job.
You just know that there are a whole team of women relying on you to do the job, and do it to a level that makes all of them look good in the eyes of the bride. Although it is not her fault that the car in front of her stopped suddenly and caused the cake to look like this, we’d say the other ladies weren’t too pleased.
Luke, we are your bridesmaids
It can’t be only us who look at this picture and see a bunch of women that look like they have been busy on the planet Alderaan attending an Easter brunch service.
Well, in their defense, this picture does look as though it was taken sometime in the early ’80s or even the late ’70s, so it would perfectly understandable of this theme had been inspired by the Star Wars franchise. All these ladies needed were some Princess Leia buns and the look would have been completed.
Hopefully this was after the ceremony
We do not think that there is anything you are able to do to come back from spilling a drink all over a bride on her wedding day.
We just hope that this whole thing occurred after the ceremony was already finished and the bride had some drinks beforehand. Otherwise, we would bet on the fact that this bride and her bridesmaid probably are not that close anymore. At least it made for a great photo.
