Whenever you go to a variety show or see videos online from one, rarely you see a performance quite as quirky as this one. Teenagers Nolan and Jayden from British Columbia created a dance routine for the JL Crowe Varsity variety show, giving the audience something to remember.
In their performance, the two stepped out on stage wearing nothing but bright tutus, colorful socks, sneakers, and sweatbands. Nolan and Jayden brought out a beach ball, confusing the audience at first. Once the two boys started dancing, the audience couldn’t help but chuckle along.
While the performance is comical, much like a skit, it also took a lot of talent. The two danced to Bonnie Tyler’s 80s classic, “Total Eclipse of the Heart.” During the song, these teens rolled the ball between their arms, their chests, and were even able to orbit around each other without dropping the ball.
Using a unique deep breathing method, one of the teens rolls the ball down his friend’s body, using just his head and some breathwork. At one point, the ball drops, but the crowd and the performers continue to have a great time.
